Our Philosophy
At Greenwich Spanish Academy, we believe that the best way to learn a language is through lived experience, where meaning is shaped in conversation, culture, and the joy of discovery. Our approach blends authentic interaction with dynamic, engaging lessons that build confidence and fluency. Whether you're just beginning or refining your skills, we're here to support each learner with purpose and passion. We offer Spanish as both a first and second language for all levels, tailored to children, teens, and adults alike. Our flexible formats, online or in-person, along with thoughtfully curated materials and options for small group or one-on-one instruction, ensure that learning is not only effective, but deeply personal

Meet Our Director
Ariadna Parlaghy
With over two decades of experience in Spanish language education, Ariadna Parlaghy brings both depth and dedication to her role as School Director. She holds a degree in bilingual education and has a rich background teaching students of all ages and levels, both native and non-native speakers.
Before moving to the U.S., Ariadna taught at several prestigious private bilingual schools in Latin America. After relocating to Greenwich, she served for six years as the coordinator of the elementary Spanish program at a local school. Also, she worked as a long-term substitute at respected private institutions, including Sacred Heart.
Since settling in Greenwich, she has offered personalized Spanish instruction tailored to each learner’s goals, whether for travel, communication, academic success, or simply the joy of learning. Looking to take her teaching to the next level, she embraced a new challenge: founding the Greenwich Spanish Academy. Together with a team of experienced native Spanish-speaking teachers, she created a space where more students can access high-quality, engaging language education in a supportive environment.
Her teaching is rooted in the belief that language is a powerful connector, and she is passionate about helping students find confidence, curiosity, and meaning in every lesson.
